My Perpetual New Year’s Intention

Judge Nothing!

Bless Everything!

Love-handsJanuary 1, 2012 I made my New Year’s Intention with the above statements. January 1, 2013 I made the same New Year’s Intention. January 1, 2014 I made the SAME New Year’s Intention. I realize that I now have a perpetual New Year’s Intention.
Although I deepen my understanding of this almost daily, this statement is still a constant mantra for me. I spend quiet time daily asking that I “allow” this to be true for me.
The following is an excerpt from A Course in Miracles, Workbook for Students, Lesson 190 that seems to anchor the importance of this perpetual intention.
“I choose the joy of God instead of pain.”
“Lay down your arms, and come without defense into the quiet place where Heaven’s peace holds all things still at last. Lay down all thoughts of danger and of fear. Let no attack enter with you. Lay down the cruel sword of judgment that you hold against your throat, and put aside the withering assaults with which you seek to hide your holiness.”
I also resonate with Anita Moorjani’s (“Dying to be Me”) advice to let myself feel the feelings that accompany fear, pain, anxiety, etc. “Allow” them to pass, not judging them or pushing them away. Then just stay with the allowing of the “Oneness”, the Presence, the Joy of God.
I Allow the Angels of Imagination total freedom to work with me that I may “allow” myself to see the world in new and loving ways. To follow the” way” of my Sacred Heart!
